I thought I had already reviewed this restaurant. Oops, So good. Authentic El Salvadoran food. Pupusas are huge and delicious. I liked the bean and cheese the most. Wonderful breakfast menu. We are glad we stopped in, if you don't like El Salvadoran food they also have a variety of traditional Mexican dishes. It's a big place. Really good for big parties. It's right on Sunset and Whitney Ranch. The women are so helpful and courteous. I enjoyed our interaction. We look forward to coming back.
I met up with some coworkers here. I saw they had wings so of course I ordered the wings. The wings were decent. They were on the menu so I ordered them. If you're not gonna give 100% on each menu item then remove it from the menu. My buddies ordered some tacos. I traded some wings for a taco and the tacos were actually delicious. I don't know if there's anything about this place that sets it apart from any other taco place, but it was actually good. The restaurant was busy. The restaurant had a good vibe to it. I'll come back here again, but not for the chicken wings.
If you're seeking authentic Salvadoran cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Las Pupusas. While they have several locations, my personal favorite is on Sunset and Whitney Ranch. The staff at this location are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food makes you feel as though you're enjoying a home-cooked meal in El Salvador.
You can either order at the counter or someone will come take your order at the table. We ordered yuca frita which was just ok. The chicharrón was very dry but the yuca was good. The pupusas were very delicious. They have a lot of filling inside and good flavor. Will def come back when I have a craving for pupusas
Ordered take out via phone call and tried their chicken tamales and Pupusas revueltos and chicharon with beans. Everything was delicious and not overly greasy. Salsa and cabbage was good, size proportions were good too and filling. I will definitely be back as my family and I enjoyed our meal very much!
I happened to see this business when driving by and had to stop and so glad I did. Walked in and the place was pretty open inside and the staff was very friendly taking your order and promptly fast service. Decided to order some chicken pupusas and these were definitely made to order and probably the biggest pupusas I've had and of course with the cabbage topping just a heat find and especially for $3 each you can't go wrong.
This place is a gem for pupusas! Honestly, I wouldn't have tried this place if it wasn't for driving by and seeing several people walking in. This is definitely one of those local favorite places. The mixed pupusas with refried beans, cheese, and pork is my favorite. They're also pretty big, and I was full with 2. The sour cream is also good to order on the side if you like that with your pupusas. The Carne asada burrito is also delicious, and the meat is super tender and flavorful. The price is also very reasonable for how big the burrito is. The only downside to the burrito is it was quite greasy the second time we ordered it, but it was perfect and delicious the first time. Service is basically nonexistent, and their phone line is soo busy if youre wanting to place a to-go order. You need to go up to the register to ask for anything you need and to pay for the bill. But if you're okay with that and know that beforehand, it might be what you're looking for.
